2026 Fiat Fastback bows in Brazil

Fiat Brazil has facelifted its Fastback model for the next year. Prices range from 119,990 to 177,990 Real.

Compared to the original car introduced in 2022, the refreshed version sports an enlarged and reshaped radiator grille with vertical bars, as well as a different air intake in the middle of the bumper. The middle-ground trims Impetus T200 Hybrid and Limited Edition T270 can be additionally equipped with a sunroof, LED anti-fog lights and color-matched lower body moldings. The Limited Edition spec is the only one on the list with a power-adjustable driver seat available for a premium.

Things stay more or less the same in the cabin. This includes the analog dashboard with its 3.5-inch digital screen and the 8.4-inch multimedia screen in the base spec. Paying extra gets you a 7-inch dash display and a 10.1-inch head unit.

The more upmarket Abarth Fastback version has received the same overall updates. You can tell it from the old version introduced in 2023 by a new radiator grille with “ABARTH” lettering where the scorpion logo used to be.

Engines also stay the same across the lineup. The Abarth version makes use of a 1.2-liter turbo four-cylinder engine running on ethanol making 185 PS (182 hp / 136 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. You can pour in regular pump gas and expect a minor 5-hp drop in power. The transmission is six-speed automatic. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 7.6 seconds, and the top speed amounts to 220 km/h (136 mph).

The Limited Edition can be optioned with the same engine, but otherwise runs on the same 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder mill rated at 130 PS (128 hp / 96 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) of torque as all other versions. Switching from ethanol to gas loses you 5 hp as usual, and opting for a 12V starter-generator slightly improves acceleration and fuel economy. The only transmission available with this engine is a CVT, and all-wheel-drive is unheard of.
