A Honda S2000 Roadster just changed hands for U.S. $125,000 this weekend. It commanded such a high price thanks to being one out of only 699 cars delivered in Club Racer spec.
Compared to the standard model, the CR features a removable hardtop, an aerodynamic front bumper, a large rear wing, different wheels, widened rear tires, a shorter steering rack, stiffer suspension and Alcantara trim on the seats.
The engine stays the same as usual – it is a 2.2-liter naturally aspirated four-pot rated at 240 PS (237 hp / 177 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is six-speed manual, and the odometer shows only around 9,600 km (6,000 miles) for 14 years of use.
