The latest video from AutoTopNL features a Honda S2000, an automotive icon that had graced the market with its presence until 2009. It was widely respected in the automotive community as well, particularly for its naturally aspirated inline four-pot capable of hitting nine thousand revolutions per minute.
However, the example in the video is not stock – in fact, it is turbocharged to a cool 420 PS (414 hp / 309 kW). That’s nearly twice the standard output and precariously close to what the new Mustang GT can do.
A speedway run found that the S2000 could reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.2 seconds and maxed out at 275 km/h (171 mph). Not too shabby at all for a 20-year-old car, don’t you think?
