Hyundai has never showed us the rear end of its upcoming 2024 Solaris, but a photo published by Autocar India lets us see what it looks like. The photographer says he made it in South Korea when the car was preparing to a promotional photo shoot.
It is obvious now that the rear end resembles that of the latest Elantra, but with different taillights. Not just the graphics is new – so are the fang-like side elements.
The next generation is slated to debut on March 21, 2023. India will be the first market for the new Solaris, where it will go on sale under the name ‘Verna’. Customers will be able to opt for a new 1.5-liter turbo engine rated at 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW). A 115-PS (113-hp / 85-kW) naturally aspirated option will also be available.
