Bizarre Jeep Gladiator 6x6 crops up on sale briefly

A hardcore tuned Gladiator truck named “So Flo Jeeps SF 6x6G” popped up on a used car marketplace in Florida shortly before vanishing from the list. We do not know whether anyone bought the tri-axle monster, but here are some intriguing details.

Compared to the standard Jeep Gladiator, the custom ride has a much longer truck bed and a third driven axle – at least, it was advertised as such. An epoxy resin mixed with Kevlar fiber covers its entire body for the ultimate protection against even the tiniest dents and scratches. The radiator grille and headlights are new, and the windshield comes encased in a sturdy protective frame.

Moving on to the rear, the roll cage above the bed is new and there is a full-fledged spare wheel in the bed. The suspension rocks a 5-inch (13cm) lift kit, and the pickup rides on aftermarket wheels shod in mud tires.

A Chevrolet LS3 V8 toils under the hood, hitting the wheels with 500 hp (373 kW). Last time we saw the ad, the asking price was a hefty $175,000 USD.
