JMEV 01 primes for launch
The JMEV 01, a lightweight all-electric sports car designed by a Chinese startup company, is finally ready to debut after seven years of development.
It runs on a dual-motor AWD setup producing a combined 434 PS (429 hp / 320 kW). It’s a fairly fast sprinter with a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.9 seconds, but cannot exceed 200 km/h (124 mph) due to design limitations.
Preordering and detailed specifications will be available on April 15, 2025. Back in 2022, the company reckoned it would be able to offer the EV starting from 300,000 Yuan (41,275 USD).
