Two weeks after revealing the MG Mulan EV for China, the automaker has now introduced its European variant called the MG4 Electric. The hatchback is scheduled for production this summer and should arrive at the showrooms in Europe in Q4 2022.
When it does so, it will have to stave off competition from the Nissan Leaf, the Renault Megane and especially the Volkswagen ID.3.
The interior photo reveals a tiny dash screen and a centered multimedia display with some buttons below. The overall layout strongly resembles that of the ID.3.
Buyers will be able to choose from two MG4 Electric versions at first, rated at 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW). The former offers 350 km (217 miles) of range and the latter 450 km (280 miles). Other powertrain options might become available later.
