Mitsubishi has shared the first teaser vid of the crossover SUV that it plans to unveil in Indonesia on August 10, 2023. The newcomer has large displays and Yamaha’s latest sound system inside, and is probably based on the XFC Concept from last year.
The model has been specifically designed for Southeastern Asia, the company points out. This implies appropriate suspension and equipment tweaks. For one thing, the Yamaha Dynamic Sound system on board will not only deliver high-quality sound, but will automatically adapt it to the current driving environment. Aside from adjusting volume, this means auto-shifting the tonal balance to yield a consistent output on bumpy roads.
In addition to the usual drive modes like Highway and Gravel, the drivetrain will get a separate setting for wet asphalt, something that may come in handy in the heavy rain season. An ESP is also included in the base spec, and the ground clearance of 222 mm (8.67 inches) is advertised as the best-in-class.
