Mizukami Auto has unveiled the 240ZG, a restomod based on an elderly Nissan S30. The production of the sports car began in the late 1960s, so very few examples have made it to the present day. Still, the company managed to bring it back to tip-top shape using modern technology.
At the heart of the project is the original naturally aspirated engine, a 2.4-liter inline-six unit that received a new intake manifold, a performance exhaust system and modern injection components. Most importantly, its displacement volume was bored out to 3.1 liters. This and a host of other modifications let the outdated engine hit the wheels with 375 PS (370 hp / 276 kW) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque.
Elsewhere, the restomod has all-new, fully adjustable suspension, four-piston brakes at the front end and RAYS Volk Racing TE37Vs alloys wrapped in semi-slicks.
Wrapping up the modifications are a custom body kit and a fully restored interior.
