Paul Walker-driven Nissan Skyline GT-R could buy you 2 Huracans

A 21-year-old Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R has sold for U.S. $577,000, more than twice the price of a new Lambo Huracan on the North American market. In addition to its sentimental value for all fans of the late Fast & Furious actor, the sports car is a rare custom spec.

This particular Godzilla never showed up on the big screen, although the seller said it starred in ads for multiple F&F instalments. Paul Walker had put around 30,000 kilometers (less than 20,000 miles) on it.

The team that worked on the car took a rare V-Spec II, one out of only 14 such vehicles imported into the United States, according to the auction holder. The total production quantity was 1,855 units. To style it after the coupe that actually made it into the movie saga, it underwent a number of extensive modifications.

In addition to a custom livery and Volk Racing wheels, the car landed with lowered suspension, adjustable shocks, a Momo steering wheel and Sparco seat belts. Its RB26DETT 2.6-liter twin-turbo received intake, cooling and exhaust upgrades.
