Land Rover specialist puts some polish on a Porsche 911 from the ‘90s

E.C.D. Auto Design, a tuning company best known for its numerous and yet tasteful restomods of the classical Land Rover lineup, has tried something different with this Porsche 911 (993). Known as the Project Gravette, it commands a boosted engine, upgraded suspension and an upscale cabin. The price is secret, as usual.

Like any self-respecting 911 restomod, this one retains the original flat-six. It still has 3.6 liters of displacement, but benefits from superior turbos and outputs on the order of 507 PS (500 hp / 373 kW). A six-speed manual transmission delivers the torque to the rear wheels. A custom exhaust system lets everybody around know that you’re driving a non-stock car.

Bilstein suspension components and Brembo brakes help with a modern driving feel, while LED headlights and a brake light strip bridge the retro with the contemporary. Interior highlights include Recaro Cross Sportster seats, a new dashboard and an infotainment system with a tiny LCD touchscreen and Focal speakers.
