The Fast Lane Truck has posted yet another video comparing performance pickups on the drag strip. This time around, the battle raged between a Ford F-150 Raptor, a Raptor R, a Ram 1500 TRX and an electric GMC Hummer.
The battery-powered Hummer is the only EV at the start line here, and in the video, it only does a single quarter-mile run against the best out of the three remaining pickups.
The first race is between the standard F-150 Raptor and the Raptor R spec. The latter benefits from a 5.2-liter V8 rated at 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) and 868 Nm (640 lb-ft) of torque. The standard spec makes do with a 3.5-liter V6 TT capable of 457 PS (451 hp / 336 kW) and 692 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque.
The winner out of these two then goes up against a V8-packing Ram TRX good for 712 PS (702 hp / 524 kW). The ultimate petrol truck then takes on the GMC Hummer EV in the heart-pounding grand finale.
