With a tall roof and a robust chassis, the Ram ProMaster makes an excellent basis for campervan conversions, so there is little wonder the Stargazer is so popular.
The example that went up on sale recently (see the video) differs from most peers thanks to its particular emphasis on available interior space and creature comforts. Among other things, the buyers specified it with a giant sunroof that you can still cover up with an opaque panel when a complete darkness is desired.
Amenities on board include a water heater and a shower cabin installed in such a fashion as not to occupy too much space. The toilet actually slides out from under the sink and occupies zero space otherwise.
As well, the ProMaster Stargazer comes equipped with a drinking water filter, fresh and used water tanks, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a 200Ah lithium battery and a 400W solar panel array on the roof.
The list goes on to mention a full-size bed, a swiveling seat, adjustable lighting, a single-burner induction stove, a work desk and an audio system.
