Seat Arona and Seat Ibiza may now take advantage of the Digital Cockpit feature previously only obtainable with the Ateca and Leona models.
The Digital Cockpit is a virtual dashboard rendered on a 10¼” display. It supports three different views that can be toggled with a press of a dedicated steering wheel button.
The first view (Traditional) includes the speedometer and the odometer, along with the relevant information from navigation, multimedia and safety systems.
The second view (Digital) only provides navigational data such as the current route, traveling time, and distances.
The third view (Dynamic) displays the maintenance status of the car, along with relevant hints and directions provided by the installed safety systems.
The Traditional and Dynamic views can be customized by adding or removing certain widgets. For instance, you can set a detailed map of the area to display next to the odometer.
The Digital Cockpit option costs between $370 and $430 to purchase and install.
