Lexus unveils an LX for surfers

The Lexus Surf LX has just debuted on the Hawaiian Islands. While technically just a concept, it demonstrates how the company can outfit its practical SUV for active leisure enthusiasts.

Modifications begin with a matte blue paintjob. The roof is offset in white and has a metal rack on top, as well as an access ladder at the back. The wheels wear 33-inch off-road tires.

In turn, the interior boasts a new leather trim and a trunk organizer specifically designed for surfing equipment.
