Car Tuning

This Halo-inspired Warthog vehicle is a Chevrolet pickup truck at core

You don’t see fancy cars from sci-fi video games coursing the streets on a daily basis. Bryant Havercamp, a phone repairman from Michigan, decided to fill in the gap.

The man spent five years working on a 1980’s full-size Chevrolet pickup, but the result was totally worth it. There’s hardly anything of the original vehicle left.

Havercamp designed all components for the Warthog (that’s what the original Halo car is called) himself. This included the roll cage, the body, the lighting, the transmission and the steering.

He also designed the entire interior trim, including the futuristic instrument panel where all gauges and indicators operate as intended.

The hood cover of the Warthog opens up to reveal a custom eight-cylinder engine with 5,7 liters of displacement room. No performance data is available at the moment.
