English tuner pushes out another custom Hummer H1

English tuning shop Mil-Spec Automotive has come out with its first project completed in 2019: the sixth in a series of 20 custom-built and restored off-road pickup trucks based on the Hummer H1 chassis.

As far as the looks are concerned, the vehicle looks very similar to the Launch Edition #002 from last year. It sports the same kind of hardtop cover for the truck bed, a similar front grille, a large winch, and a completely overhauled and mended body with front and rear fender flares.

The car wears a dark grey aerosol paint that looks good alongside the robust off-road wheels wrapped in meaty all-terrain rubber. Mil-Spec Automotive adds custom air suspension with adaptive shocks. It also raises the air intakes higher up so that they do not get flooded during water crossings, and swaps the stock bumpers out for sturdier metallic ones.

The cabin of this particular Hummer H1 astonishes with the amount of handiwork put into it, as well as the attention to fine detail. There is a new instrument panel, a sports steering wheel, a high-end audio system, and fine leather upholstery.

We don’t know how much the unique Hummer H1 Launch Edition #006 costs or whether it had its engine swapped out for a stronger one, like some of its predecessors.
