A user named @omg_tesla has posted some drone footage on X featuring a Tesla Cybertruck pickup speeding down a straight-line course at the automaker’s California HQ.
Judging by the minute-long video, the Tesla engineering team is still working on perfecting the acceleration dynamics of the Cybertruck. You can see the vehicle stop right in front of the drag strip, then blast off the start line and reach the finish in mere seconds – around 10 seconds, we think. The driver then proceeds to brake before making a turn.
Last time we heard from Tesla Inc., the company promised us to begin shipping the much-anticipated, much-delayed Cybertruck in late Q3 2023 – in other words, any day now. We will believe it when we see it.
