A rare and desirable 1967 Toyota 2000GT that the automaker kicked off its motorsports career with is being traded on Bring-a-Trailer right now, sitting at $750,251 with three days left on the clock.
The coupe belongs to a series of just 351 units, only one in four of these made with the steering wheel on the left-hand side. Toyota brought 54 examples to the United States in the late 1960s, but this particular one was imported from Africa decades later. It enjoyed a complete restoration 11 years prior to the sale and proceeded to win an elegance contest last year. The description claims it is in a museum-worthy state.
A while ago, the owner of this 2000GT had tried selling it at a private auction. The bidding never matched the $1.25 million reserve, though.
