Toyota has introduced the Camry XSE, a track-only racecar for the 2024 NASCAR Cup season. It is styled in the same vein as he latest road-going Camry and will celebrate its debut in motorsports at the LA Coliseum track.
The automaker said it hoped the new racer would be at least as successful as the outgoing Camry TRD Next Gen, which had claimed 18 victories over just two seasons.
Co-designed between TRD and Toyota Calty Design, the car was deliberately built to look like the regular Camry saloon. The lighting, the front air vents and some of the aerodynamic parts are nearly identical.
All technical details remain to be revealed.
