Toyota has officially announced the coming of an all-electric Hilux pickup version in 2025.
The first prototype of the truck was built and showcased by the company’s Thailand branch a few years ago (it’s in the gallery and the video here). As it now turns out, the Hilux EV will be mass-produced in Thailand next year. It may make it to other markets later on, particularly Europe, but the company hasn’t yet announced a release outside of the country of origin.
