New Toyota Tundra now available as a six-wheel truck

Among other things, U.S.-based tuning shop Esteem Customs specializes in stretching standard trucks into 6x6 heavy-duty beasts. One of their more recent projects is this Toyota Tundra.

Aside from a stretched bed, the latest-gen truck ended up with reworked undercarriage, a new driveshaft and upgraded suspension. We were unable to find out how much longer this version is compared to stock, but it does look substantially bigger in the photos.

Power still comes from the stock engine, which can be obtained in a pure ICE flavor rated at 394 PS (389 hp / 290 kW) or hybridized for a total of 437 PS (431 hp / 321 kW). The main difference is that it now drives six wheels instead of four, likely delivering better off-road performance.

From the eye candy perspective, the whole truck is now red with a plethora of black accents for contrast. The wheels installed are Deep Concave Vossen HF6-5 forged ones, and their black finish is supported by the matching radiator grille, glass bezels and a-pillars. New, more convenient running boards can also be seen.

As far as we understand, only 5 such conversions will be made priced from $199,000.
