The mass-issue VW Golf Mk2 used to be in production from 1983 through 1992, which just about makes it a retro car according to modern standards. It came equipped with a 1.8-liter engine that was easy to tune to ridiculous output numbers. For this, the Golf series was awarded the ‘sleeper’ moniker.
BOBA Motoring has been doing this for years, and this particular Golf has had most of its stock components reworked or replaced altogether. Watch the video to find out some of the details.
