Volkswagen said the Golf facelift would debut later this month, but photos showing the body and interior of the production hatchback have already cropped up on Cochespias, allegedly snapped during a private presentation event.
As you can see, the front bumper in particular has been redesigned. The headlights have been reshaped, DRLs replaced with a new design, and a LED strip has been added just below the hood rim. The taillight signature has been updated, too, and it looks like different trim levels will have different signatures.
As for the interior, Volkswagen had already previewed it before, but this is the first time we are seeing actual live photos. There is a large display in the middle and actual hardware buttons on the steering wheel instead of capacitive controls.
Nothing has been revealed regarding the powertrain options yet. We would expect most previous options to remain on sale with minimal adjustments to fuel economy and emission profiles.
