Xiaomi’s all-electric SU7 sedan runs farther in 2026MY version

Xiaomi has opened its preorder books for the latest SU7 sedan lineup. It promises more semi-autonomous driving equipment on board, an improved interior layout and up to 902 km (560 miles) per battery charge. All prices and specifications are already available, so let’s dive in.

Per CarNewsChina, the facelifted SU7 arrives with 320 PS (316 hp / 235 kW) in the base spec instead of the former 299 PS (295 hp / 220 kW). The top spec now commands 690 PS (681 hp / 507 kW) instead of 573 PS (565 hp / 421 kW). Despite these powertrain improvements, the manufacturer claims the EV goes farther on a single charge – from 720 to 902 km (447–560 miles) depending on your other choices. It helps that the entire lineup now charges much faster thanks to support for higher charging current.

Dual-chamber air suspension and a LiDAR are now always included as standard. The central processing unit for the self-driving system now computes at 700 TOPS instead of just 508 and benefits from the latest version of the Xiaomi HAD assist package, also included for free regardless of the trim. Finally yet importantly, there are nine airbags on board now instead of seven.

On the exterior side of things, the 2026 Xiaomi SU7 set itself apart with a reworked front bumper and a new bright blue exterior finish. The cabin benefits from standard ambient lighting and cup holders installed horizontally one per seat, rather than one behind the other like in the old version. Black leather trim has been revised for comfort, and that’s about it.

Live sales of the car will start in April, the company says.
