The refreshed Zeekr 7X lineup with superior electric motors and range is already available for reservation in China, but the pricing won’t be revealed until Tuesday, October 28.
Most technical parameters have already been announced, so let’s review them. The RWD version of the SUV now sends 503 PS (496 hp / 370 kW) to the wheels instead of 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW). As a result, it now sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.4 seconds instead of 5.8.
The 75-kWh “Golden Brick” lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack stays the same, but now provides up to 620 km (385 miles) per full charge – 15 km (9 mi) better than before the facelift. Last but not least, charging from 10 to 80 percent full now succeeds in 10 minutes and 30 seconds thanks to an 800V electric architecture.
Paying for the top spec ramps up the electrics to 900V and the battery to 103 kWh (provided by CATL). The RWD version has the same 503 PS as above, but is a faster sprinter with 5.1 seconds from zero to highway speed. It also lasts longer on a charge – 802 km (498 miles) per the Chinese standard.
The AWD variant outputs 795 PS (784 hp / 585 kW) from two motors, boasts a 2.98-second sprint time and tops up the battery in 10 minutes. It also gets 715 km (444 miles) per charge despite the increased energy consumption, Zeekr claims.
The entire lineup benefits from a new Nvidia Drive U-Thor chipset with 700 TOPS of processing capacity for ADAS features. The company’s G-Pilot H7 package is no longer optional, but included in all trims.
The current Zeekr 7X lineup starts from 229,900 Chinese Yuan and goes up to 269,900 Yuan with all boxes ticked. The automaker reported selling 52,200 7X units from January to September this year, pointing out that the SUV was accountable for more than 36% of its total vehicle sales over that period.
