Lamborghini Temerario sprouts a track-only modification for private clients

Lamborghini has announced an expansion of its Temerario supercar lineup scheduled for 2027. The new Super Trofeo – shown here in concept status – is partly inspired by the non-street-legal GT3, but is mainly aimed at clients who like to attend the automaker’s in-house events.

The new Temerario Super Trofeo runs on the same chassis as the road-legal Stradale version, but benefits from a stiffer and more flexible suspension setup. It also packs a superior non-hybridized V8 engine turbocharged to deliver 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) through a six-speed sequential transmission. The Hoer gearbox is also sourced from the GT3 mentioned above.

An integrated roll cage and a new trimming material are the two biggest interior highlights. Lamborghini calls the Dinamica Infinity synthetic suede “a next-generation polyester fabric”. Last but not least, all cars will ship with an extended aero kit for track use.

The Temerario is considered an entry-level supercar in the Italian automaker’s portfolio, just like the Gallardo before it, and it’s been the company’s tradition to release Super Trofeo versions of these comparatively affordable cars. OEM-hosted client races regularly take place in Europe, North America, Asia and Middle East.
