Piëch Mark Zero new pics, specs revealed

Piëch Automotive has revealed new photos and technical specification of its Mark Zero supercar scheduled for its 2019 Geneva Motor Show debut. Let us have a look at them!

In terms of body dimensions, the car is similar to the Porsche 911.992. More specifically, it is 4,432 mm (14.54 ft.) long, 1,991 mm (6.53 ft.) wide and 1,250 mm (4.1 ft.) tall, and weighs in at around 1,800 kilograms (3,970 lbs).

The Piëch Mark Zero comes powered by three electric engines rated at 204 hp (152 kW) each. The manufacturer does not reveal the actual performance limit of the powertrain so far. The car needs 3.2 seconds to get going at 100 km/h (62 mph) and tops out at 250 km/h (155 mph). When the sporty two-door coupe ships, it might do so with an optional gasoline engine, but this hasn’t been decided upon yet.

The car relies on a special radiator grille Piëch has designed together with Chinese-German joint enterprise Desten to keep its traction battery cool. According to the company, the battery only produces moderate amounts of heat during driving, so there is really no need for a heavyweight dedicated cooling system.

Once fully charged, the vehicle offers around 500 kilometers (310 miles) of uninterrupted driving. On a much more interesting note, however, Piëch Automotive claims that you can replenish 80 percent of the battery within the record-breaking 4 minutes 40 seconds.

Once the Piëch Mark Zero coupe ships, the car marque plans to follow it up with a four-seater and a performance SUV.
