Alfa Romeo CEO gave an interview to Autocar this weekend where he lifted the veil over some interesting details about the new Giulia Quadrifoglio saloon. He confirmed that the model would become an EV and ship in three power options to choose among.
The entry-level spec is envisioned with 350 PS (345 bhp / 257 kW). The middle ground will be occupied by a very potent variant with 801 PS (790 bhp / 589 kW) at its disposal, and the top of the pedestal will be claimed by a 1,014-PS (1,000-bhp / 745-kW) version.
The latter will most likely benefit from AWD and utilize a tri-motor configuration similar to that of the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore. It is also official that the new Giulia Quadrifoglio will have around 700 km (435 miles) of driving range per charge.
The premiere remains penciled in for ‘sometime in the mid-2020s.’
