Indian car gurus over at Autokrafte have spent a while transforming a BMW F01 sedan into a lookalike of the modern G70 using aftermarket parts.
The F01 generation of the 7-Series was introduced in 2008 and bowed out of production in 2015. To spruce it up, the tuner came up with a completely new design for the exterior, complete with bumpers, fenders and hood. New light units were also installed to increase the likeness, and fake M-parts were not omitted, either.
Autokrafte rounded off the job by giving the exterior a stylish two-tone paint job and replacing the wheels. Admittedly, the result still looks neither here nor there due to the unusually long overhangs and stock cabin. The company also says it had to modify the frame quite a lot in order to reconcile the old and the new parts. Even so, panel seams and misaligned bodywork suggest that it wasn’t an easy task to carry out.
