Ramon Performance cranks up BMW M5 output to 850 PS

Hard as it might be to believe, the latest F90 BMW M5 has been around for five years already, although it is still very competitive. Russian tuner Ramon Performance has recently launched a tune-up program for the performance saloon.

The main upgrade targets the stock 4.4-liter V8, dialing its power up to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW) and torque up to 1,111 Nm (819 lb-ft). There is no mention of any specific mods, but we would expect at least a turbo kit upgrade, intake and exhaust improvements and an ECU remap.

To let everyone know you aren’t driving stock, the standard exhaust system goes away and makes room for an Akrapovic one. The styling goes even further with a custom body kit made of carbon fiber, which includes a massive front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, side skirt extensions and numerous other, smaller components. The yellow DRLs bring the range-topping M5 CS to mind, the forged wheels are new, and the suspension is lower than stock.

Ramon Performance claims the car can now sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.4 seconds and ultimately reach 345 km/h (214.4 mph).
