Just a few weeks before the launch of the BMW X5 facelift, the tuners at G-Power released a new upgrade package for the still-relevant F95 version of the SUV. Dubbed the Typhoon S, the kit incorporates carbon body parts, wheels, suspension mods and a tune-up to 800 metric horsepower.
The aerodynamic ensemble comprises a front splitter, a rear diffuser, new side skirts and a slew of other, smaller elements. The arches are occupied by 23-inch Hurricane RR forged rims shod in low-profile tires, and the suspension lowering amounts to 40 and 45 mm (1.6 and 1.8 inches) at the front and the rear end, respectively.
The stock 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood benefits from larger turbos, new downpipes and other performance parts designed to withstand higher boost pressures. As a result, the wheels get slammed with 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW), which a valve-controlled exhaust system makes known to everyone within earshot.
