The YouTube channel Tiny Home Tours has posted a video showing the transformation of an elderly school bus into a comfortable home on wheels. Responsible for the project is a carpenter whose last name is Weston.
The homegrown skoolie houses a kitchen area with a sink, a two-burner stove and a retro-style fridge. Precious wood varieties find use in the tabletop and drawer cabinets. A battery pack plugged into a solar panel array provides power for the appliances on board.
Moving on to the driver’s cab, the driver’s and passenger’s seats here are sourced from an older Chevrolet Astro Van and can swivel around to face the rest of the interior. Still, what impresses us the most is how massive the sofa and the dining table look. The former has plenty of storage space underneath and houses a battery there along with a water tank. As for the table, you can unfold it into a full-fledged bed, so the dimensions are once again justified.
