Koenigsegg wraps a carbon-cladded Jesko in gold leaf

The Koenigsegg Jesko is about as exclusive as hypercars get, but someone ordered one with an all-carbon body and 24-carat gold décor all around. The Swedish automaker never mentioned the price, but it looks like a one-off project for an affluent client.

Judging by the photos, the gold plating was applied to most body panels and trims, including the a-pillars, the side mirror supports, assorted aerodynamic moldings and rear wing ends. The company’s badges were also produced from the same precious metal.

The base car is an Attack spec focused on delivering top-notch performance on the racetrack. To that end, it flaunts a sophisticated body kit maximizing its downforce.

Koenigsegg introduced the Jesko in 2019 (see video). The car uses a 5.0-liter V8 in tandem with an electric supercharger to hit the asphalt with 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW). The certificate of title states the top speed as 482 km/h (300 miles per hour), but the company says it can exceed 500 km/h (310 mph) given the right conditions.

The entire production run of 125 cars was sold out long ago.
