Standing out from the supercar owner crowd can be tricky, but you can always go for a flashy aftermarket makeover. Or, as the owner of this Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato did, walk the hard route and turn your ride into something qualitatively different with a pair of turbos.
The turbochargers reside in the engine bay at the rear end and were put there by two tuning teams: Boost Logic and Envision. The stated goal was to reach 1,100 PS (1,085 hp / 809 kW) at the wheels. In the dyno test video, the car still appears to make 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW), though, so there is still work to be done.
On the outside, the Sterrato wears a stylish desert camo wrap and looks like a natural-born sand racer. The owner claims it is the world’s first bi-turbo conversion of this model, so it comes with the challenge of having to study all of its quirks and peculiarities before more boost pressure can be applied.
What impresses us more is that it has just 1,126 km (700 miles) under its belt, meaning that the owner decided to tune it before he could even properly enjoy driving it stock. That takes dedication! We here at Formacar are hoping that the project succeeds.
