The rebooted Italian car brand Lancia will introduce us to its first new car in April. It will be a concept tasked with previewing the company’s new design philosophy. The first production car is not expected until 2024.
With no images or videos to go by, the leading theory is that this vehicle will develop upon the Pu+Ra Zero Concept shown in the gallery below. That one debuted in November 2022 as an “automotive sculpture” of sorts, although the company claimed some of its details would ultimately find use in production cars. In particular, this was referring to the Y-shaped front end and the nostalgia-inducing round taillamps.
Moving forward, Lancia also plans to introduce the next generation of its compact hatchback Ypsilon, which is also destined to go full-on electric. A flagship vehicle is scheduled for launch in 2026, and the next-generation Lancia Delta is expected two years after that.
