No End Customs has wrapped up restoring an open-topped Lincoln Continental convertible made in 1964 and is selling it to the highest bidder. The estimates come close to U.S. $250,000.
The tuner wisely avoided messing with the iconic exterior of the Continental, instead settling on minor stylistic tweaks, such as new LED lights all around or modern suspension springs. A set of 20-inch Raceline Manhattan wheels shod in low-profile tires made it into the arches, and the soft top received a new power drive. The result is a car that manages to look both modern and recognizable as a classic.
Interior additions included Dakota Digital instruments, a two-tone steering wheel and an audio system with a subwoofer, an amp and Bluetooth support. The stock engine was ditched in favor of a six-liter General Motors V8. The listing doesn’t mention the power output.
