Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has unveiled the most extreme modification of its ‘03’ sedan that packs 350 metric horsepower and a racing-ready cabin.
The car is technically still a prototype at this point. It is based on the Lynk & Co 03+ Cyan AWD (see video) and utilizes the same 2.0-liter Drive-E engine. However, a combined forced induction system raises its output from the original 265 to 350 PS (from 261 to 345 hp; from 195 to 257 kW, accordingly). The torque goes up from 380 to 420 Nm (from 280 to 310 lb-ft). The eight-speed automatic transmission and the all-wheel-drive system enjoy a range of performance-oriented tweaks.
Elsewhere, the most hardcore street-legal Lynk & Co 03 around has a roll bar, Recaro seats with six-point harnesses, and empty space where the rear row had been. It is unknown whether the car will be released and how much it may cost.
