It has been a while since Novitec released its upgrade package for the McLaren 570 Spider, but no one has demonstrated us the full kit on their ride so far. That is, until now. Swiss tuner CarTech has recently finished working on just such a project.
The opulent British supercar gained the full Novitec Rosso package, including the front spoiler lip, side sill extensions, a rear apron add-on and a fixed swan-neck rear wing.
Of course, the tuner didn’t neglect the drivetrain, either. Once the Novitec N-Tronic chip has been installed, the performance output went up from the factory-promised 570 hp (425 kW) to an impressive 638 hp (476 kW). Switching to the high performance mode is a matter of pressing a single button on the Active Dynamic Panel. Once activated, it enables the car to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat and ultimately reach 335 km/h (208 mph).
To make that kind of power more manageable, CarTech fitted in a high-end exhaust system. They also swapped the stock wheels out for a set of 20-inch forged Novitec MC1 rollers clad in racing-grade rubber. Finally, they lowered the suspension by 30 mm (1.2”).
The tuning didn’t end there and then, though. The owner of this McLaren 570 Spider took it to another car atelier, autokosmetik.li, where it received an elegant grey film wrapping with vivid orange stripes serving as highlights.
