Check out a Mercedes-Benz G-Class truck

Netherlands-based tuner ikWILeenG converted a Mercedes-Benz G500 into a pickup truck, and it is currently up for grabs in the USA with the bidding at $60,000 and a few days remaining.

The car started its life as a five-door Geländewagen Grand Edition (see video) in California, USA 16 years ago. Its current owner acquired it in 2014 and sent overseas – to Netherlands – for a conversion. ikWILeenG did its job and packaged the ride for another Transatlantic journey.

The cost of the conversion is not stated anywhere, but photos next to the ad description reveal the whole conversion process start to finish. The car has managed to retain its five-seat layout while getting a large freight platform from a special G-Class modification that Mercedes used to produce for Scandinavian Airlines in the 1970s and -80s.

Lacking a full-height tailgate, the G-Class carries a spare wheel in its bed. The rear window is OEM, however, with even the window washer intact and operational. AWD is also functional thanks to a new, longer cardan shaft.

Elsewhere, the one-off G-Class pickup features an 80mm (3.1”) suspension lift and 16-inch wheels outfitted with lugs. It has around 175,000 kilometers (109,000 miles) under the belt.
