Video: Challenger SRT Demon vs. 911 Turbo S

The guys at CarWOW have recently compared the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon with the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Let’s see how the duo performed with regard to acceleration.

The Demon comes powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 rated at 808 PS (797 hp / 594 kW) and 972 Nm (717 lb-ft) of torque. It has standard front tires and uses slicks at the rear. An eight-speed A/T carries the momentum to the rear axle, and the car weighs in at 1,941 kg (4,279 lbs). Prices in the UK start at £137,000.

The 911 Turbo S weighs in nearly 300 kg (650 lbs) less and uses an eight-speed PDK gearbox to drive both axles. Its 3.75-liter flat-six engine uses turbochargers to produce 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Buying one in Great Britain requires at least £156,000.
