Manthey Racing is preparing a set of aftermarket updates for the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as evidenced by this video showing it going full-tilt through the Nürburgring track.
At this point, the tweaked 911 GT3 RS lacks any distinctive features compared to the stock car. Manthey’s previous works always prioritized aerodynamic efficiency over engine tuning, but we are not sure whether this is going to be the case this time around.
Even in its stock form, the latest 911 GT3 RS can exert 860 kg (1,895 lbs) of downforce at 285 km/h (177 mph), three times as much as the regular, non-RS GT3 can do. It would therefore be particularly interesting to see Manthey further improve a car with parameters as impressive as these.
For the engine, the newest GT3 RS uses a 4.0-liter flat-six mill rated at 518 PS (511 hp / 381 kW).
