The talented engineer team over at B is for Build is currently busy turning a Lamborghini Huracan into a stick-shift supercar. The seven-speed pre-selective DSG is gradually making way for a six-speed manual gearbox taken out of an Audi R8.
According to the tuner, the stick-shift Huracan will be marginally slower than its factory counterpart, but will offer a unique and immersive driving experience to compensate. No major troubles should crop up concerning the transmission swap, since the Audi R8 has the exact same engine as the Lamborghini, just boosted to a somewhat lesser extent.
As for the Italian luxury car marque, it does not intend to ever make a three-pedal Huracan publicly available. Allegedly, the market demand for this type of car is too low to compensate for all the R&D expenses.
Lambo released its last stick-shift supercar – the Gallardo – six years ago.
