The Keen Project builds rally cars out of Porsche 911s

Did you know that old Porsche 911 models actually had non-zero off-road capabilities? Surely not! Leh Kin – a U.S.-based professional racing driver – did, on the other hand, and has always dreamt of turning classical Porsche 911s into wide rally rides. As it turns out, his tuner shop, The Keen Project, is already taking orders.

The tuner says models issued between 1980 and 1989 yield the best rally cars, but it can work with almost any version.

The conversion program includes restoring the vehicle completely to top condition, upgrading the suspension, installing under shields and heavy-duty bumpers, mounting auxiliary lighting and swapping the stock rims with some serious all-terrain wheels wrapped in meaty tires.

The Keen Project will also execute any kind of custom exterior or interior design if you want it to.

Prices for a Porsche 911 rally car vary greatly depending on your needs and wishes, but U.S. $120,000 would be a passable example of what to expect here.
