Toyota Camry gets a 2.5-liter engine option

Toyota has prepared a 2.5-liter engine option for the Camry buyers in the Middle East, an exclusive offer not available anywhere else.

In other countries where the best-selling sedan is present, it is largely offered as a hybrid. Non-electrified petrol versions are available in China, but they don’t get more than two liters of displacement, which is considered entry-level.

In Saudi Arabia alone, buyers can now order their Camry with a 2.5-liter, naturally aspirated A25A-FKS engine rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 243 Nm (179 lb-ft). It links to an eight-speed automatic transmission and drives the front wheels with no further options.
