German auto parts supplier KW Suspensions has designed three height-adjustable coil-over spring sets for the eighth-gen Volkswagen Golf. Prices begin from €1,129.
All three can be used to drop the ride height by between 35 and 60 millimeters (roughly 1.4 – 2.4 inches) on both axles. Each spring supports fine step-by-step adjustment. The differences are in the fine details, as usual.
The Variant 1 is the most affordable of the trio, priced starting from €1,129. It ships with non-adjustable shocks and will suit racing enthusiasts. The Variant 2 comes in at €1,479 and offers adjustment of low-speed recoil across a 16-grade scale. The Variant 3 is the most expensive at €1,899 and offers full control over compression and recoil.
The vendor points out that the third option has been designed to maximize comfort in all situations and therefore takes quite a bit of adjustment for racetrack use.
Soon, KW DDC plug&play and KW Clubsport suspension kits should join the lineup of products for the VW Golf Mk8. Stay tuned for prices and availability.
