Skoda Fabia spins off a rally version for Spain

Skoda has revealed the hottest Fabia hatchback so far. It’s called Rally2 and is coming exclusively to the Spanish market limited to 100 units.

The 1.5-liter turbo engine stays under the hood, but a number of tweaks from ABT Sportsline drive its output to 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. That’s 40 horsepower (40 kilowatts) and 40 Newton-meters (29 pound-feet) over stock. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission carries the momentum to the front wheels.

The Rally2 rides on 17-inch OZ Racing wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires and sits 15 mm (0.6 in) lower than standard. It doesn’t offer much in the way of body kit, but does come in an exclusive shade of yellow previously reserved for the RS lineup alone. It also rocks a pronounced rear spoiler and special edition badges. The interior is black with sport seats and paddle shifters under the steering wheel.

Prices for the rare five-door hatch start from €30,900, making it Spain’s most expensive Fabia ever. The first deliveries will only be made in March 2025.
