Tesla Cybertruck owners don’t really need anything else to stand out like the attention-seekers they are, but some just don’t know when to stop. It’s thanks to them that we now have a Cybertruck in the USA that shines almost like a glass mirror (and it’s not a wrap).
A team of four detailing professionals have spent what appears to be dozens of hours meticulously polishing the stainless-steel body of the car to the highest gloss attainable. We only have these three photos and a short vid to show you, but you can see for yourself just how deliberate the process is – the hands holding the polishing machines barely move. According to some detailers, you can expect to spend a whole hour polishing just two square centimeters (four hours for one square inch) for this result. Impressive, isn’t it? Consider also that you must first cover up all the plastic and glass bits with protective film so they don’t get damaged.
We’ve got to admit, the result does look dazzling. It still raises at least two big questions. One is just how long can the owner realistically expect their Cybertruck to stay clean like this? We’ve heard reports of these pickups going all blotchy after a few days staying exposed to the elements. The other question is whether this amount of shine is even street-legal in the States. Considering that permanent sight loss is a thing, we’d certainly not want to cross paths with the driver on a sunny day.
