New Toyota Celica coming soon

The North American branch of Toyota reports that the development of the new Celica coupe is already at an “advanced stage.”

The statement comes from Cooper Ericksen, the VP for BEVs, Mobility Planning and Strategy at Toyota USA. He also revealed that multiple pre-production test cars had already hit the streets and were shown to select dealerships.

At the same time, Ericksen refused to reveal any images of the car and added that all “leaked” Celica renderings circulating online are fake. In other words, you’ll have to wait until the premiere to see the real thing.
