VW ID. Buzz gets a wallet-friendly version in Europe

The all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz minivan (see video) is now obtainable in a new trim version called Freestyle on the Old Continent. It’s not free, but rather affordable nonetheless.

The new cheap trim looks the part with black plastic bumpers at both ends and 18-inch steelies wearing VW hubcaps. The default exterior color is white, but decals at the sides help liven things up a bit. The seats inside are wrapped in fabric, but climate control and infotainment are standard features.

On its domestic market of Germany, the new ID. Buzz starts from €50,000 – a fair bit below the €54,100 Pure trim.
